First-person shooter Battlefield 2042 will join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play with the start of Season 3.
Battlefield 2042 will launch alongside Season 3 of the game on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play, as was revealed in a development update. As DICE and other EA developers continue to support Battlefield 2042’s live service, a major player injection is on its way to the multiplayer shooter. DICE confirmed in its most recent development update that with the release of the game’s Season 3, Escalation, they would join the EA Play and Xbox Game Pass subscription systems.
With this update, the game will be available through the EA Play basic subscription on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms. Members of Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscription services, which feature EA Play as an added perk, now have free access to Battlefield 2042.
