The next Steam offers are remarkably close, and as you know, they go hand in hand with the horror season.
Steam is the most popular platform for purchasing digital games for PC, it is undoubtedly the favorite of many PC gamers, and one of its strong points is seasons of discounts that are hard to ignore.
Let’s mention that these next offers are nothing more and nothing less than the Halloween 2022 offers, so generally, you can expect discounts only for horror games, now, if a scary game is on your radar, this may be a suitable time to get it. October is a favorite month for those who enjoy horror, and not surprisingly, many video games have Halloween-themed events.

Halloween 2022 offers will arrive this October 25, under the name “Steam Scream Fest”, so we can also expect a new seasonal theme for your Steam profile in the points store. The offers will end on November 1st, having one week to be able to purchase your horror games, but if horror games is not your thing and you were expecting discounts in other categories, don’t worry, Valve already confirmed the dates for the next post-Halloween offers:
- Autumn Sale (November 22 – November 29)
- Winter Sale (December 22 – January 5)
- Spring Sale (March 16 – March 23)
It is worth mentioning that, in 2023, the spring offers will be entirely new and will completely replace the Lunar New Year sales in Valve’s calendar.
“You can think of the Spring Sale like the other seasonal sales (Autumn, Summer, Winter); support levels from Steam should be similar to those sales. Remember, during these sale events the entire front page of the Steam store shifts to a different layout, focusing on highlighted promotional deals.” This means that the spring sales season will be considered one of the most important like the summer and winter ones.
Regarding the reason for this replacement to the Lunar New Year offers, Valve mentions that it was due to the close proximity it had with the winter offer season, so Valve believes it would be better to give more time between the big sale events to give customers a “breather”.
Now that you know about the upcoming sales, it’s best to save some money and wait for your favorite game to receive a big discount. What games do you have in mind?
