One of the best JRPG franchises is finally coming to the Xbox Game Pass service, Persona 5 Royale will be available this week.
Yesterday, Microsoft announced the upcoming games coming for the rest of October, and one of them is the highly anticipated Persona 5 Royal, which will arrive on Xbox Game Pass this October 21 for the cloud service, console, and PC.
“Forced to transfer to a high school in Tokyo, the protagonist has a strange dream. “You truly are a prisoner of fate. In the near future, ruin awaits you.” With the goal of “rehabilitation” looming overhead, he must save others from distorted desires by donning the mask of a Phantom Thief.”
Let’s mention that this installment of the franchise is only a definitive version of Persona 5, in which changes are incorporated; including new elements and compiling all previously released DLC, just as it was with Persona 4: Golden.

More and more players are interested in playing Persona, and now with its arrival to Game Pass, the question is whether it is necessary to play the previous installments; and the short answer is no, it is not necessary to play Persona 4 or earlier to play Persona 5. Each game has its own story, and although they may have some references or connections to other installments, the scenarios of each game are completely independent of each other.
