The Ryzen 7000 is more efficient, but what if we added 3D V-Cache? AMD announces the prices of these three new processors.
It’s no secret how the Ryzen 7 5800X3D has been crowned as one of the best CPUs for gaming, and so far, it’s still worth it and will be worth it for a while longer. At the beginning of January, AMD surprised with the arrival of three new models of Ryzen 7000 CPUs with 3D V-cache technology: the Ryzen 9 7950X3D, Ryzen 9 7900X3D, and the Ryzen 7 7800X3D.

AMD 3D V-Cache is a technology that was added to Ryzen processors by AMD. It allows for better performance and faster access to memory. It is made up of layers of cache that are stacked on top of the CPU and are designed to make it easy to get to data that is used often. This makes it easier for the processor to get to the data it needs to do its tasks, which improves performance and cuts down on latency. The 3D aspect of the name refers to the fact that the cache is structured three-dimensionally, with multiple layers of cache available to the processor.
This technology has proven to be the most efficient for increasing FPS in games, and with the arrival of the Ryzen 7000 series, the new X3D models are expected to enjoy higher performance than their standard versions, by up to 30%, according to leaks. New 7000X3D series
We start with the top processor of the Ryzen 7000 series, the Ryzen 9 7950X3D, which will cost $699. This processor has 16 cores and 32 threads, a 4.2 GHz base frequency with a maximum of 5.7 GHz, a TDP of 120W, and a 144MB cache memory. The Ryzen 9 7900X3D will cost $599; it has 12 cores and 24 threads, a 4.4 GHz base frequency with a maximum of 5.6 GHz, a TDP of 120W, and a cache memory of 140 MB.
Finally, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D will cost $449 with 8 cores and 16 threads, a 4.2 GHz base frequency with a maximum of 5.0 GHz, a TDP of 120W, and a cache memory of 104MB.
The most interesting is the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, as it would replace the great 5800X3D; however, if the benchmarks do not show a significant difference in FPS, many will certainly pass up the 7800X3D. Also, remember that the new AMD 7000 series is only compatible with DDR5 memory, so building or upgrading your PC may raise the price a lot more.
It is currently cheaper to build a PC with an AM4 socket and DDR4, and if you want to have the most powerful Gamer PC with AMD without paying too much, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D is definitely your choice.

Is AMD 3D V-Cache technology worth it?
Whether or not AMD 3D V-Cache is worth it depends on what each person wants and needs.
