Both Harry Potter fans and non-fans will be able to enjoy the game. Hogwarts Legacy is connected to J. K. Rowling’s Wizarding World, so only true Harry Potter fans will understand some situations or mentions of the Wizarding World lore that may appear during the story. However, this does not mean that a non-fan of Harry Potter cannot enjoy the game, as the story takes place a long time before the first Harry Potter.
